Review round-up and other happenings.

December 10th, 2011

Over the course of the last month, The Healer has managed to stir, excite, challenge and disturb reviewers all over the world. I couldn’t be more delighted.

Here’s a sampling:

Author Gloria Antypowich: “I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance, action, suspense and a touch of ‘paranormal.’ And if you are open to consider the real possibility of the power of healing that can be channeled from the universe, it will take on even greater enjoyment for you! Don’t pass The Healer by. You would miss a very special read.” Full review here.

Tumbling Books: “Right from the beginning, I had no idea where this story would go and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed! It was action-packed, romantic, exciting! It was crazy, I couldn’t believe everything that happened to poor Ivy, I wasn’t expecting any of it. Reading The Healer was intense, it was like I was right in the middle of the action. The ending was amazing! I especially loved the way they got revenge on the bad guy! =) I highly recommend this book! READ IT NOW.” Full review here.

Coffee Time Romance: “For those interested in swords, ancient and modern, and those enthused by the legends and exploits of samurai warriors, this is a tale you will not want to miss.” Full review here.

I’m indebted to every reviewer who spends a few hours with The Healer. I’m even grateful to the reviewer who found Victor cold and calculating, and his relationship with Ivy incomprehensible. The fact that I was able to elicit a strong emotion from the reviewer satisfies me; I’d be worried if she’d felt nothing at all. I truly appreciate her time and perspective.

If you’ve read The Healer, I’d love to hear/read your thoughts (even if you don’t blog about books or make a habit of posting reviews online).
